Our just words
One searches their life
For a true love
Then dedicate their lives
On something that borders pain
Putting ones’self
In the possible path of destruction
The emotional rampage
Telling your love
Life started with them
You would do anything for them
And protecting their life
From harm with your own
The true meaning for the word love
I love you
A commonly heard phrase
Sometimes signifying nothing
True love shines through
In the little things one does
The people there when you need them
Love remains blind
To the eyes that search
Only then does it find you.
