Dark Night Dreams
Deeply sleep, troubled dreams
Dark night shivers wakened me
All around, lost and found
Pitch black blinded, barely see
Thought is jarred, awake I see
Covered in sweat, troubled me
Take a breath, breathe it in
Heart is racing beat by beat
Calming down, silence round
Clocking is ticking, breaking sound
Body heaving, start believing
Safe and sound, now I'm found
Had the escape and waking
From dark night dreams
So off I go again and again
Back asleep to troubled dreams.
