What is a poem, many times I have asked myself
Is it this, that I write
These words that sometime unite
A train of thought, an interest
What is a poem for, why does one write
It is the truth from the heart
Only to come out when touched
What is it to write a poem
An insight to life
Thoughts living as words
Complex, yet simple
Gift of the mind and heart
Sharing your soul in words.
